As a young girl the first in a family of six, two boys and four girls, growing up with my parent was a wonderful one, though then we don’t know what it is to be born again and we don’t attend church either. I stayed with them till the year 1990, then I had to leave them and join my uncle and his wife in Aba to complete my secondary school education.
I joined them in their own church(Faith Terbanacle Congregation) I started knowing what it is to know God. Though my encounter with the church was still fresh ,but deep down in my spirit I knew that’s not where I belong, but I had to attend the church services because I had no choice and my uncle was the strict type.
Church services started becoming boring for because of the message which was not in line with what my spirit wanted, this went on till I completed my secondary school, I left my uncle to join my parents back in Togo, I was so amazed in what I saw, my parents has given their lives to Christ and were highly committed in church, I had to join them immediately in Assemblies Of God church but still not yet satisfied in my spirit. Still the same month, I met a brother who told me the story of my life and made me understand the sweetest side of the gospel ,how much that God loved me not counting my sins against me, I knew there and then that this is it, he led me to Christ on the 11th July 1998 ask me to worship with them in Christ Embassy ,for me that was my first time of hearing such name, I was eager to come to church ,but when I got there the reception from the ushers, the choir, the warm welcome overwhelmed me and most of all the word of God swept me off my feet l knew I have arrived, from then till now my life has been from glory to glory, my encounter with these brother ushered me into what I’ve searched and longed for many years; serving God with everything I’ve got.
I got born again on the 11th day of July 1998,I’m so grateful to God Almighty and to my lovely pastors, pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wonderful wife Rev. Anita Oyakhilome, Also to my zonal pastors, pastor Archie and Ngy Aseme, I love you all.
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. .
